Pinot Grigio wine grapes are grown primarily in Northeastern Italy. In other countries, the grape is called Pinot Gris, and it is grown in New Zealand, Australia, The Ukraine, Alsace, and two States in the USA (Oregon and California). For example, Alsatian pinot grigio wines age well, while Italian wines tend to lose their acidity if kept too long.
