Chile produces a wide variety of red wines, and thanks to the climate and conditions when the grapes are grown, these wines are often excellent quality, with a reliable and consistent output, year after year.

Red wines from Chile are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Carmenère also having a good share of the Chilean red wine market.  Some of the Cabernet Sauvignons have been reported to be better than some French classics!

With Syrah, and Pinot Noir making a name for themselves, Chile is definitely worth a taste when looking for sale or return alcohol, or wedding alcohol, as the prices are often relatively low given the quality of the wine, and you should be able to get an excellent quality, drinkable wine for £5-10 per bottle.
